Civil Rights Mural

PROJECT: This 70 foot tall mural painted on polytab depicts the civil rights movement in Memphis. The mural was funded by an Our Town grant from the National Endowment for the Arts as part of a larger project known as the Memphis Heritage Trail. The Memphis Heritage Trail is a cultural district planning project designed to tell the story of African American Memphians by promoting arts and history to revitalize a downtown neighborhood.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Project facilitation and approval of project milestones. Acted as artist resource during fabrication of mural by assisting with implementation – painted polytab and provided guidance for installation.
